The Otaku Java draft plan is as follows. This plan is based on Gavin Shito’s deadline of February 3rd.
I suggest we run the following events:
Events and products:
- 2 workshops – These are writing workshops in a computer lab to mitigate procrastination
- 1 seminar – this is an all out AMS event where we have a journalist or writer come in and get UH and non-UH anime club students pumped up to write articles and come in for our next writing workshop – also serves as a recruiting event and could be built into a writer’s circle for later.
- 2 photo shoots – Cosplay photo shoot for new cosplay section in OJ. We could coordinate with Jayson Chun to get maid cafe pics possibly?
- 2 editing sessions – one on the tail end of the final writing session and one all out session after the deadline using a computer lab. x copies of Otaju Java – We’ve got to print the product.
- 1 Sales Event – Our booth at Kawaii-kon.
This is what our timeline looks like, *based on not doing anything but Otaku Java and
regular meetings* until February 3rd. I have suggestions on who should implement what.
